Why use The Stroller Spa?
Being parents ourselves, safety comes first when dealing with baby-gear.
Our team is extensively trained to safely un-assemble, clean and re-assemble your stroller, car seat and other baby gear.
Chemical cleaning or commercial laundry type services are not recommended for most stroller and car seat brands, as the use of abrasive cleaning agents may jeopardize the integrity of the fire-resistant coating of the materials.
In addition, each stroller and car seat brand has it own requirements for cleaning, and we tailor our services accordingly. We use different cleaning products and methods for different brands, but always organic, non-toxic and baby-safe.
This is why we list all the brands we service on our website, and ensure our team is trained to safely handle and correctly re-assemble your precious baby-gear.

The cleaning process we follow:
1. Vacuum
We start with a thorough vacuum that gets rid of those cracker crumbs and moldy raisins.
2. Clean
If stain treatment is booked, we start with a pre-treatment of all stains (or the entire area) on each fabric component with our organic cleaning products; followed by a hand-wash to sanitize all fabrics and hard components (e.g. frame, chassis, wheels - depending on the chosen service).
3. Detail
Once we've completed overall cleaning and sanitation, we check all components and get into every crevice with our dedicated set of tools and cleaning products to ensure every bit of grime has been removed (deep cleaning packages only).
4. Steam-clean
We use our powerful steamers to completely disinfect your baby gear. This process will kill bacteria such as E-coli and salmonella. We will get into every nook & cranny to kill the most persistent germs.
5. Dry
The final touch is to dry; and depending on chosen treatment: polish and detail the hard components; then re-assemble your item with the fabric components. If a lubrication-service was chosen we will do so on all moving parts.
Your baby-product is now ready to be delivered to your home in a sparkly clean and sanitized condition for your little one to enjoy.
