The Stroller Spa was born out of the desire of 2 parents, Sevak Boyadjian & Suzanne Maenen, to find non-toxic and organic cleaning services for their children’s equipment to ensure safety for their young children, and enhance the life span of their baby-gear. Being a parent himself, Sevak understood the needs of parents in ensuring their baby gear is in a hygienically clean and safe working condition. Sevak also brought with him an extensive experience in Customer Service and Marketing, 2 key ingredients that have helped develop The Stroller Spa into a successful business. His partner Suzanne had gained broad industry knowledge during her 2-year role as ‘’expert mum’’ at a leading baby- store in Dubai, enabling here to gain expertise in the functioning and care of premium strollers and car seat brands. She was also tasked to write the store’s training manual, outlining all products and brand standards. As a mother, she is fully up-to-date on the latest trends in the juvenile retail industry. |
TheStrollerSpa.com launched in September 2013 as an eco-friendly baby-gear cleaning service, using non-toxic and organic cleaning products safe for babies and children.
Repair services were added a year later, as there was a growing demand for refurbishing and replacement of parts.
The Stroller Spa is now the official repair center of several leading premium baby-gear brands.
Offering loan car seats and strollers for the duration of the cleaning service, customers started to inquire if these could be rented as well when they had visitors in town, whereafter the rental division was added in 2016.
Today the Stroller Spa also offers baby-gear repairs, spare parts as well as rentals for visitors to the UAE.
