In certain buildings, access to guest elevators is not permitted for delivery drivers, and all deliveries must be made via service elevators only. Service elevator access often involves time-consuming security procedures and may be subject to delays due to use by movers or priority given to food delivery services. Due to these time constraints, and to avoid delays that may impact our other customers, we are unable to wait for prolonged periods to complete deliveries in such buildings.
DELIVERY PROCEDURE IN RESTRICTED BUILDINGS
For buildings with the above restrictions, our delivery team will deliver the rented items to the main building reception lobby only, where the items will need to be handed over directly to you. You, or a responsible person on your behalf, must be present to meet our driver in the lobby within the agreed delivery time slot. Please note that, based on our prior experience in these buildings, reception or concierge staff will not accept the delivery on your behalf.
Our driver will deliver within the 1-hour time slot shared with you and will message approximately 10 minutes prior to arrival to advise that they are nearby.
We allocate a maximum of 10 minutes per delivery and are happy to assist you with taking the items up to your residence provided access is granted immediately and without delay upon arrival. If you are not present in the lobby at the time of delivery, or if our driver is not permitted access to the guest elevators, the delivery will be aborted.
In such cases:
- The order will be returned to our store.
- You may arrange self pick-up from our store at your convenience.
- Delivery fees are non-refundable.
RETURN & COLLECTION POLICY
Our team will collect within the 1-hour time slot shared with you and will message approximately 10 minutes prior to arrival to advise that they are nearby.
To prepare your rental order for collection, we kindly ask that you ensure any personal items, waste, visible crumbs, spills, and loose dirt are removed before packing / returning. Please note that deep-cleaning or laundering is not required, as we will handle that once the items are collected. Please have all the items ready & packed to be handed over to our team at the agreed collection time.
A responsible person must be present in the building lobby during the agreed collection time slot to personally hand over the items to our driver. From our experience, concierge or reception staff will not accept items on your behalf. Collections must take place within the agreed time window.
If items are left inside or outside the apartment, with security, or elsewhere, and no one is present to hand them over at the agreed time in the lobby, any collection delay exceeding 10 minutes will result in the security deposit being held in full.
